Gil Parsons

Gil is both CGS's occupational psychologist and professional supervisor.

She is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist and an experienced user of psychometric instruments for career guidance, self-development, team building, recruitment and assessment.

Gil has wide coaching and mentoring experience across a number of industries and sectors.  She designs and delivers leadership development and coaching programmes to individuals and organisations, also coaching consultants and supervising other coaches.

After an early career in education Gil was General Motors' Training and Development Manager at Luton, playing a critical role in a successful cultural change programme. As Industrial Fellow for Assessment and Development she taught on Masters programmes in Guidance and Counselling for Adults. Later she was a Director of an international HR consultancy, with responsibilities including the formal accreditation to professional standards of several hundred consultants nationwide.

Gil holds an MBA, an MSc in Occupational Psychology, a Diploma in Business Coaching from Warwick Business School and an Advanced Diploma in Supervision from Middlesex University.  She is a member of the British Psychological Society, the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and is a Fellow of the RSA.  She is also a qualified facilitator and trainer.
